@Pat I remember leaving the cinema (in Australia) and thinking it was a bit mediocre, but I got obsessed with the "where did the Martians go when the left" explanation. Like, obsessed. When I teach astronomy or biology I always refer to it (for fun)!
#NoSpoiler on a 20+ year old film.
@War_Kittens Thank you for finding @RikerGoogling on here for me!!!!
So it's on. Pack of #PlatiumumPreppy #fountainpens coming my way. Fallen into a refilling/modifying hole. Exciting! #ecofriendly
I have just realised how wasteful #pens are. Looking for #ecofriendly substitutes. My handwriting is terrible, so the obvious choice is a #fountainpen but I fear the ink smudge. Happy to be enlightened. I have had a look on here; https://www.treehugger.com/best-eco-friendly-pens-5201425 but hoping for something in #Australia to #supportlocal
@slider7420 Ooh, fun. Thanks.
Ok, so the #EduGlow hashtag is just lovely. Will try to post one a week.
@jferg Not as good as S1, but still a cracker.
The #markingbingo has begun!

@hasmis I got on a pair of rollerskates and skated into pillows and a wall for my year 10 students for the linear motion formulas. Fun times 😄
@Sudo_Overflow Shame the metal detecting didn't find treasure to fund both hobbies!
@Sudo_Overflow So what's the new hobby?
Over my 15 years of #teaching and #marking it is only in the last 3 that I have moved from alphabetised "whole paper" to "question by question" marking. Got to say that the latter really is the superior method. I have not done an official "which is faster" investigation, but I feel it is definitely fairer. #edutoot #edutooter #IBchemistry
@freckled Woah. Really?
So it is #marking week. My #ibchemistry SL class often leave notes and things in their exam. I present a series of them here... #teacher
