Oh for gawds sake what have you got against the Russians? You really have no clue what's going on do you?
As for your response, what exactly are these baseless claims in terms of the article? Be specific!
@AlanOutback
It absolutely is the same. Not a military man are you? Critical infrastructure is dual-use and is always a military target, regardless of country.
Ouch, this is not good optics for anyone! #Birdsite

The instance gets financial help from CIRA. I cringe when they call in Mastodon Canada—it's simply an instance set up in Canada. I'm almost sure there are others.

⚡️ (https://t.me/wargonzo/9453)🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Front Page Summary for the Morning of 26 Nov 2022; pub. 10:47⚡️
Russian barrel and rocket artillery continues to be active in the Kherson direction. Arrivals in the regional centre. Strikes on AFU positions in #Belozerka, #Antonovka, #Nikolskoye, #Tokarevka, #Berislav and #Staroshvedskoye. That is, practically along the entire line of contact. For their part, the AFU shelled Novaya Kakhovka. They also launched missile attacks on #Chaplinka and #Skadovsk. The latter two named localities are now deep in the rear. (Figure 1)
On the #Donetsk front, everything is traditional. Russian troops do not abandon attempts to break through to #Konstantinovka, attacking near #Novomikhailovka. Street fighting continues in #Maryinka. The AFU is not going to give up its stronghold on the dominant heights above #Donetsk. Russian troops resumed assault actions near #Pervomayskoye. Their artillery was working tightly on the #Avdeyevka stronghold. (Fig. 2)
On the southern outskirts of #Bakhmut, the Wagner PMCs attacked from the direction of #Opytnoye. Not to be confused with the locality of the same name near #Donetsk! There is also fierce fighting on the southeastern outskirts of the city. Near #Soledar, the Wagner PMC again storms #Bakhmutskoye and #Yakovlevka. (Fig. 3)
On the #Lugansk direction, Russian troops attempted a counterattack near #Dibrov and near #Stelmakhovka. Their artillery hit AFU positions in #Zarechnoye and #Makeyevka. (Fig. 4)

My understanding is that pollution can/may destroy our atmosphere. Isn't that what's causing Global Warming, a thining of our atmosphere? Simplistic but you get the gist.
> @marathon0 Yes. The continued existence of our atmosphere depends on our star behaving itself. On the other hand, since our atmosphere has been here for a billion years, we know that our sun is very steady and stable. The sun has active periods and occasional outbursts but nothing that would strip away the atmosphere.
@shuttersparks Great to hear that! :-)
> @marathon0 Yeah, my Friendica instance was having problems and was going to be shut down. When I went searching for a solution, I realized that I was spoiled by using a platform that federated with both Diaspora and Mastodon.
>
> I abandoned Friendica and moved to Glasswings for my Diaspora instance and a Mastodon instance in Canada. After a while I realized that my Mastodon instance was okay but had certain limitations that occasionally annoyed me.
>
> When the Twitter collapse began I searched for a better Mastodon instance and moved here to qoto that has none of the limitations of my old instance. I’ve been a happy camper ever since.
@erikdesmedt Sorry have no idea about iOS. Not sure many Apple people trust many apps unless verified by their love, Apple. ;-)
What I like about FDroid is that they compile all their applications - if they aren't given source they don't list it. Keeps a lot of spyware away. It's the first place for me, occasionally I have to go to the PLAY store if the app isn't available on FDroid - Having a Pixel sometimes it can't be avoided.
@sebastian_hos I don't know where that suggestion came from [to hide pictures under cw]. That's not my experience on the Fedi. Only what may be an offensive picture and/or nudity, is a use of that feature. It kind of annoys me when it's used for every post one makes.
@shuttersparks Earth is large, but our atmosphere isn't very thick. Scary if that were to disappear.
@shuttersparks See you've found a better home than Frendica! :-)
@libreleah LOL I'm sure you're not.:=)
2018 article from @codesections@fosstodon that’s great on what’s special about Mastodon. Still true today apart from the bit about quote toots: I’ve noticed some Masto clients allow them; others don’t.
