@robryk Nope, all running free. Was at the top of all columns. I'd freak out if I wasn't. If I scroll down, I click the top tab to get back to the top. All the column were moving, in all instances, only the input box for toots was slow @freemo

@robryk Strange. 5 tabs open, 3 Mastodon, 1 Tweetdeck, and email, a few other apps open, nothing else was doing the slowed typing, just assumed it had to be this instance. I've never seen it before, strange. @freemo

@MarkusEicher create another account, on that instance, or toot directly at the person on the other instance. Also, there is cross posting, but I never looked into it. I would guess that would post to both instances. @aldr@fosstodon.org

@freemo Ahhhhh. Never even thought of that causing an issue. My first thoughts went to wave of new users, or heavy uploading of media.

@freemo On a side note. Have you checked your servers performance in the past half hour. Seeing noticeable delays even in typing. New wave the cause?

@freemo I guess I see it as he is a death eater, even when being a double and quadruple agent, and his love for Lilly was so strong that he betrayed his kind. Interesting to think about his motivations though, if there was more.

@freemo I think it was meant to be taken as he really did side with the death eaters, but gave it up at great risk for love.

@oldjacket I don't know about what apps can do on mobile, but you can add a server's timeline in the form of a column here on qoto's web interface. Pretty snazzy. Thanks for making me look into it, it will help!

@oldjacket which app are you using? I have multiple accounts on multiple servers, so that's how I follow other stuff I guess. Tusky allows multiple accounts.

@oldjacket I have been off for a while, so I hope this info is accurate. No, the instance will decide which servers to follow, and will show up in the federated timeline. However, you can mute some of those servers, so they all won't be showing in that timeline. I thought a few years ago he was working on a way for a user to add specific servers, but don't know if he did it or not. I will look into it today and try to figure it out.

@oldjacket If you are looking for a specific person you want to follow you can search against all followed federated servers to find the person.
