#GustavinoRatio calcular, here we are; it now should work with any mastodon instance.
I now have to make the tables render correctly and I might have a first publishable draft.

The #GustavinoRatio calculator has been deemed a good formative project in view of other works I'll have to do using Django.
Thus making the #GustavinoRatio calculator is now basically my job.

I'm a PhD Materials Scientist at MIT who works part time as a staff instructor and a consultant for various companies. I love mentoring people and helping companies turn scientific curiosities into useful devices to help the world.
I've also worked in chemicals, electrical engineering, bioengineering, physics, and mechanical engineering.
It's been years that I'm having to dual boot Windows to run a specific software I need to work.
They told me I could use wine but as far as I've seen Illustrator runs slow and this specific one doesn't run at all.
I just realized I have such a powerful computer I can just use a Windows virtual machine!
I recently started a new commission and next week I'll start working with this software; I'll see how that works.

Alright, I kept working on the #GustavinoRatio calculator and I was able to get the OAuth to work!!
Sure, it currently only works with qoto.org, but this was just an experiment to understand how the hell that should work.
I already made it so that it prints the table in a webpage.
Some CSS might help here...

I obviously wish not to spend a single euro on this, I believe my time is already enough.
Soooo, does anyone have a server to host it or at least a subdomain to point at my server?
I could definitely put it on my old server, but a subdomain will be required as I would prefer not using my main domain.

Home-delivered meals have always bothered me. It looks like the perfect example of overlooked irresponsible #consumerism.
You have a **fridge** where you can store food for days, a **freezer** where you can store food for months, **grocery stores and supermarkets** everywhere around you (some of them open during weekends or at night), convenient **online orders** and cheap **delivery** of those groceries…
…and yet you need that a local restaurant wraps their stuff in way more plastic and paper than is necessary, and that some kid jumps on a dirty moped and whizzes dangerously through the city to get to your door _right now_?

I'm working on the development of a #GustavinoRatio calculator.
I wrote the code required to calculate the daily ratio and the ratio over a period.
Now I will have to create a web interface so that anyone can calculate its own #GustavinoRatio and determine who is his Gustavino on Mastodon.

I got back and improved the little script that counts how many toots appear every day in my home timeline.
The improvement was this: count as well how many are the toots coming from @GustavinoBevilacqua and what's the ratio over the total.
Here the results, columns are:
Date, total toots, toots by Gustavino, ratio of toots by Gustavino over total
