Non so perché ma certe storie della #mastocartoleria mi fanno venire in mente questa vecchia barzelletta.
Oggi sono rimasto a casa con l'influenza... La ho da martedì ma i due giorni scorsi stavo meglio e sono andato al lavoro.
Oggi si vede che mi sono svegliato male e sti cazzi...
Fortunatamente nella mia azienda non sono affatto fiscali perché ancora non ho il medico di base e non ho voglia di andare in urgenza per farmi fare la giustifica, quindi ho giusto chiesto di lavorare da casa ed oggi mi seguo poco a poco un corso sul reinforcement learning.
Pare una cosa abbastanza figa, devo ancora capire se per i miei obiettivi sia effettivamente migliore degli algoritmi di ricerca classici.

Immaginate di aver perso il posto di lavoro dalla sera alla mattina, senza preavviso, senza lettera di licenziamento, andate in ufficio e semplicemente non vi fanno più entrare, senza che nessuno vi spieghi perché. Poi immaginate di dover anche restituire lo stipendio degli ultimi mesi che avete già incassato.
È quello che è successo ad alcune società che avevano realizzato dei client alternativi di Twitter con migliaia di utenti abbonati. Twitter all'improvviso ha spento le API di accesso ed ha cambiato le carte in tavola, dopo che queste società avevano contribuito alla sua crescita.
È il rischio che si corre ad affidare la propria presenza online (peggio ancora il proprio business) completamente nelle mani dei colossi dei social e più in generale del web.
Mi viene subito da pensare a quelle migliaia di piccole aziende che basano tutto il loro traffico sui social (siti di news ad esempio). Ma anche l'utente finale non è immune a questo pericolo, e non parliamo della pubblica amministrazione. Un click e vi cancellano, senza possibilità di replica.
Questo paradigma va cambiato!

Aggiornamento di oggi: ho fatto il colloquio per un altro tirocinio, che è decisamente più umano, più interessante, meno asfissiante, più corto e di conseguenza mi permette di laurearmi forse addirittura a novembre al posto che a marzo 2024.
Adesso devo trovare le parole giuste per scrivere al vecchio professore che non sono più interessata.
Comunque oggi una buona notizia e una piccola vittoria per me.

Era un po' che non lo dicevo, però #ancheOggiSèMangiato (e tranquilli che anche se non lo dico mangio quasi tutti i giorni) tagliatelle all'uovo coi funghi che mi sono cresciuto in camera. Molto buone, approfittando che oggi con una linea di febbre ho potuto lavorare da casa. Un ringraziamento anche alla famiglia che è venuta qui in vacanza il mese scorso e mi ha lasciato un po' di parmigiano. Le tagliatelle non le ho fatte io, sono quelle dell'Eroski, che nonostante sia un discount ha delle paste sue mica male, prodotte in Italia e trafilate al bronzo. Decisamente migliori e meno costose della Garofalo che si trova qui, per non parlare della Barilla. Purtroppo le condizioni sono quelle che sono e temo che ormai di pasta con grano russo non se ne trovi più, però con un po' di fortuna magari le hanno ancora in scorta; che tanto gli Spagnoli qui si comprano quella dannata pasta Gallo che è veramente terribile.
Ho smesso di fumare sigarette da più di un mese!

Da aprile devo iniziare il tirocinio della tesi magistrale presso un'azienda esterna all'università. Alla mia richiesta di maggiori informazioni al riguardo ho inserito anche la voce: "C'è l'evenienza di un eventuale rimborso spese?"
Mi è stato risposto di no, e un po' me lo aspettavo, perché si tratta di un ente di ricerca che suppongo non abbia nemmeno i soldi per la carta igienica.

I fed #ChatGPT the text of my last toots and boosts.
500 lines of them, 250 at a time to get around the character limit.
I'd say that while it did make some mistakes, it definitely understood quite a few things, especially because most of the things were just boosts.
It focused a lot on my last toot about Twitter I guess.
It definitely didn't get the jokes...
