It's like it's 1970 again. Protests on campuses against an unjust war, a genocide, cops raiding and rioting on campuses, students fighting power, investigations into the leading republican, for dirty tricks and illegal acts, women fighting for the right to control their own bodies and the state governments saying NO - DIE BITCH!

Zbiórka na @svmetasearch póki co idzie w dobrym tempie, jednak wpadłem na pewien pomysł - czy gdybym założył zrzutkę internetową na takiej zrzutce peel, to byście ją wsparli, żeby dotrzeć do celu szybciej? Chciałbym zebrać ok. 1,500 PLN (minus pieniądze które już dostałem).

Przypomnę, że głównym celem jest zbiórka na serwerownię @ftdl, lecz też na utrzymanie projektu wyszukiwarki.

@szescstopni LOL, years ago, research was being done on moose in Ontario. They put collars on them to monitor them. The writeup talking about the research had me in stitches. So...moose kind of sleep for short bits. They would use the opportunity to put the collars on the cows and calves, but it was the graduate students who had to do that part. Maybe because they were younger and faster. On occasion, a moose would snap out of its nap and...grad students would run behind nearest tree. :)

I am tired of hearing about people who ask their medical providers to mask during essential healthcare interactions and hear "no." If you're a healthcare worker who can't be bothered to protect the safety and wellbeing of your patients, maybe it's time to change careers. You're first reaction to such a request shouldn't be about your rights or comfort but ONLY about the patient's health and reassurance. It's a shame people even have to ask for protection from #COVID19 and other viruses.

Fałszywe oregano?

Najczęściej fałszowaną przyprawą w Europie jest oregano. Może właśnie dlatego to oryginalne cypryjskie ma inny smak? Zapewne zauważyliście w cypryjskich sklepach dwa rodzaje oregano. Jedno jest tym "zwykłym" a drugie ma dopisek "cypryjskie". I żeby było ciekawiej są w smaku zupełnie różne! Być może powodem innego smaku jest to, że oregano jest najbardziej fałszowaną przyprawą w Unii Europejskiej - tak twierdzą autorki publikacji w biuletynie Głównego Inspektoratu Jakości Handlowej Artykułów Rolno-Spożywczych.

Mam Ci ja taką nierzucającą się w oczy blaszaną miseczkę, dość starą. Ale dziś przez przypadek zwróciłem uwagę na jej drugą stronę.

O jakie było moje zdziwienie. I skoro to jest "Made in D.P.R. de Korea" (czyli jakiś dziwny francusko-angielski miks), to pewnie pamięta jeszcze czasy Wielkiego Przywódcy Kim Ir Sena... :D
