Are you a Clojure developer if you are not familiar with @borkdude stones?

Just in case you missed this at @clojuredconf,
thank @plexus and @nonrecursive for this meme for

Honestly this is a big one of the reasons I choose /#Clojure: maximum capability while maintaining a culture of low-turbulence, high stability, low junk

This is gorgeous. Next time I hear the "why emacs?" debate, I might just answer, "buffers."

RT @mickeynp
There's so much more to Emacs's buffers than meets the eye.

Philosophically, the buffer concept underpins everything about Emacs and Elisp. Without buffers, Emacs would've turned out very differently.

Nice illumination! Seems pretty arbitrary compared to the #() lambdas I'm used to with

Watch this top spin

it flips over to spin on its narrow stem, during this inversion it changes the direction of the rotation

This inversion phenomenon, a feature of many spherical objects whose centre of mass doesn’t match their geometrical centre 1/🧵

Amen to this -- clj-pdf wrapper around pdfbox has been highly useful in some of my apps

I've never used aspect-ratio, but it seems well supported: caniuse.com/mdn-css_properties

💡 CSS Tip!

The aspect-ratio property can be used to manage the width and height of an element.

Or to create responsive containers that always maintain the configured aspect ratio.

Depresssingly, this quote from 1984 is even more true today than it was then.

I think I just did my first "programming" in CSS. For the work in progress, my router simply provides no URLs for paths not yet created. On the table of contents I finally made a rule "a:not([href])" to be clearer than just having a click do nothing.
