"Low-fidelity prototyping" in a talk. Little do they know I use .

So much of what is said here about Lua is pertinent to , too: nimble (tight core by design), not OOP, flexible (in part due to Lispiness), etc. I suppose the biggest difference is that Clojure is a hosted language -- which is mostly a pro, but sometimes a con. andregarzia.com/2021/01/lua-a-

Some thoughts on why I do not miss type systems as a developer. 1/

Two groups of programmers stand out and both are gravely mistaken.

The is no fast language on its own. Also, there is no practical system that is bad, slow, hard to maintain purely because it is written in a particular language.

teaches a great many principles of code quality and manageable system design; half the boot "Pragmatic Programmer" is already idiomatic. I love to use Clojure to learn other things. With shock I realize that WordPress is not this way; looks like it will teach bad habits of system design and code usage. has many qualities, but "learning to do things the right way" is not one of them.

It’s official: I’ll be giving a lightning talk about golfing at @ClojureDays in Amsterdam in October. See you there!

Great to see @logseq giving back to the community by becoming a member of @cljtogether 😃

A nice snippet demonstrating why I love in (GardenCSS). Every pre-processor gives you &, but being able to use assoc/dissoc to modify a map is pretty nice.

"I will take for granted the fact that Lisp is commonly acknowledge to be a FP language, so I will not explain why Lisp is a FP language." Oi. Time to figure out where this is commonly acknowledged (and why Rich Hickey didn't think it was all that common when he made an FP lispy). tilde.town/%7Eramin_hal9001/ar

Does anyone have any questions about or ? (Could also be general development stuff too)

Let me know if I can help 👇🏻

Deep Diamond library is ready for releasing, with recurrent neural networks (RNN) fully working on both CPU and Nvidia GPU! That's been a ride! github.com/uncomplicate/deep-d

Just watched "The Secret Art of Storytelling in Programming" youtube.com/watch?v=xbikBoA3Oi by @viebel and really enjoyed it. Data-oriented programming facilitates this technique, which is another great reason to choose .

I am leading a workshop for a company in London.
Instead of dealing with Leiningen (like I did previously), this time I teach them Clojure with .

It loads fast, comes with batteries included and integrates very well with VSCode.

Well done @borkdude !
