@worldsendless looking into that thread- this looks like they're trying to summon Cthulhu... Or at least one of the elder gods.

He's got a point. Why? Because you are mastering the language core library, the ecosystem, and the community/idioms.
My only correction? Learn #Clojure first. It will provides a mighty environment for learning all those others with true REPL and best practices.

Good tip. And before jumping in to #Clojurescript, complete at least 5 more in #Javascript.
This is the curse and the blessing of the #clojure philosophy -- know a little of your hosts first, but then reap the benefits

Are you an aspiring front-end developer?
This tip is for you!
Before Jumping into Javascript, try to complete at least 5 Projects using plain HTML and CSS.

Interesting how the concept itself goes away.

JavaScript tip💡
You can use the syntax "array.length = 0" to empty an array
Here is how it works

Once, while drunk, I deleted /boot...
After another drink, I copied /boot from a liveboot usb over to my hard drive.
Worked like a charm. https://twitter.com/hermit_hacker/status/1441890190918885380
The #webdev community is largely single-line promotionals (mostly about the glories of #javascript) and threads of handy gee-whiz info. So, in proper #Clojure fashion, I've decided to use that community as Host and do all those same things, but #ClojureScript. Join us in the fun!

I guess the #Clojure slick truth model usually sidesteps this:

and I like having some-> for safe interop:

@heikkiket Last year we had a huge boom in jobs last year; it was like every start-up wanted #Clojure. But that may have settled down now.
I don't feel it would hit top 5, because it doesn't want to. But I think it should make top 10. Thing is, it tends to bring in senior devs who have been burned by other languages. It is super fun, and allows huge freedom and power, but at the cost of a little more barrier to entry.
#Clojure has made my CSS, HTML, Javascript, Shell scripting, Java, SQL better -- but only after I already got some groundwork in them. Some of the top 5 languages aim precisely at new programmers (Python, JavaScript), and I don't think Clojure ever will. But it's worth it for those who love to learn, to understand, and to achieve mastery.
