teaches a great many principles of code quality and manageable system design; half the boot "Pragmatic Programmer" is already idiomatic. I love to use Clojure to learn other things. With shock I realize that WordPress is not this way; looks like it will teach bad habits of system design and code usage. has many qualities, but "learning to do things the right way" is not one of them.

There once was a conversation an a thread on Twitter, a month or two ago. We talked about stuff that has been on my mind, but now it is missing. How can I find it?

It’s official: I’ll be giving a lightning talk about golfing at @ClojureDays in Amsterdam in October. See you there!

Super excited about this project (and the rest of them!) with the @scicloj and @cljtogether communities! Thanks to everyone who contributes to community funds like this to make all these project possible. twitter.com/cljtogether/status

@lanodan @pixelherodev@fosstodon.org Sad thing is that it doesn't ALWAYS work, but setting my FireFox to "Reader" mode usually manages, too

This might be the biggest emacs news I've been around for. I'm so excited that these folks tracked down this bug and made it right. 🙏

Great to see @logseq giving back to the community by becoming a member of @cljtogether 😃

@csepp because wrapping tabular text becomes a mess; one cell changing the layout of the entire table. It's fine if that's what you want to read, but if it's just one of many data in the table, we have issues.

hahaha. Yeah, I bet the Linux share holders would love that! If I contribute to my distro, do I get a cut?

My favorite linear algebra+ book so far. I find the book both comprehensive and approachable, with an endearing "by the way" style of writing to soften the heaviness of the subject.

"can introduce naive people to IT". I am interested in arguments about whether this is actually a good thing or not (the fact that we are talking here on Mastodon might indicate our bias on this point)
