The Jenkins infrastructure and security teams have published a blog post that contains information about CVE-2021-44228 in the Apache Log4j 2 library https://www.jenkins.io/blog/2021/12/10/log4j2-rce-CVE-2021-44228/
I have to face it: 3 of 5 days I am not a coder; I spend all day planning, scheduling, answering emails, project meetings, delegating, code review, and training. And at least one more on devops and debugging. It is time I made peace with this fact. #IsThisSeniorDev?
Gratitude 1: #emacs is really good at both emailing and scheduling.
Gratitude 2: It's actually the 6th day where I get some serious coding in. At least, sometimes.
Whoa. My screencast made it on this !

https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/issues/2151#issuecomment-946249188 @firefox has a great container extension, but I accidentally told it to open a site automatically in two different containers. The solution is here (thanks, open source!)
Do you look on you email inbox with more weight and dread than your social media feeds? I do. And it is nigh time I asked the crucial question, "why?" The fact is, email is just GOOD. Though it depends on your interface choices (which is actually a big feature, if not "convenient"). But "message over imap" has been around for a long time, predating current messaging things, and one of the biggest services of social media is just putting a shiny veneer on the old mailing lists.

If you're interested in helping modernize the @UsePolis #Clojure code base, we've started a GH Project to help us track issues:

I'll put together a higher level Roadmap in the coming days, but please reach out if you'd like to help.

Sussman on a different #lisp curse: lisp is its own operating system. Programmer's don't want to leave it, so they have not been motivated to make/use external APIs. But doesn't #Clojure win at this interop game? #reclojure @reClojure
