@kev @FirewallDragons Hey! I just checked that out, too! I got it from the library, at least for the title sake

@verita84 That sounds like something unique! Decentralization of code. That sounds like a winning idea!

Looking into gitea.io/en-us/ to see how it compares to GitLab and SourceHut. Anyone have details, particularly for the non-git services offered?

@talpa @lupyuen Does it support CICD in any way? How about mailing (issue management)? I am interested. We already moved from Hub to Lab, but Lab is sadly hub-like sometimes.

@icedquinn email composition, LaTeX style. Reminds me of a Grad Student explaining LaTeX to me, griping how you basically have to program your papers (like that was a bad thing)

In so many ways tech is catching up with : JavaScript getting some immutability, React improving hot-loading and tree comparisons, and other stuff, Python with interactive kernel (REPL). What are ways you see maintains its lead?

@tennoseremel@mstdn.io ah! so it was just missing because it had other classes, too? That makes sense!

@tennoseremel@mstdn.io right you were! Just get rid of that `class=` nonsense and it worked

While we're talking about online pay grievances, on a lighter note, who decided to swap "make and model"? I mean, no one says "I drive a Forester Subaru" or "Ranger Ford"... why would you do this?

Unbelievable, there seems to be some “e-commerce” engine of some sort that just doesn’t work on Firefox. Encountered two different sites today that...

@aral as a webdev, I can confirm. People like to pretend that there is just one browser these days, sort of the extreme bounce-back from those years of IE-support-hell. But I also do most of my work in FireFox.

@redstarfish what's the difference between Fediverse and Activity Hub?

So, if I have one account, do I just get do use that anywhere on the Fediverse? Is that the way it works?

@veer66 I thought, "a photo of something you lifted from someone". But maybe you mean "a photo which you photographed"

Got it! SO mislead me. Forget that `class=` business.

label:not(.custom-control-label).required:before {

"not" failing matching :

label:not([class=custom-control-label]).required:before

Struggling with some here. I need a selector, ":before me, unless I have some class"

RT @daslu_
How many people here are new to and would find it useful to have an Intro to Clojure session as a preparation for the course?

As a developer, how do you react to a mistype? What if it's not just a typo, but a shortcut that does something unexpected?

A combination of the these? Comment?
