I can see a lot of student getting a fail, sadly they will blame the university and not their own stupidity, we can't take responsibility for that can we.

I feel sorry for the students who put the effort in.

It is not the anti social stuff that worries me as much as the people who start huge fires just by throwing a lighted cigarette on the ground or leave BBQs around.

When i was in canada for a year, I learned the phrase

Leave only footprints, take only memories. wise words to anyone venturing in to nature.

I am with you on this, it is just typical that the powers that be go after the easy solutions..

You probably get in more trouble for skinny dipping on a secluded beach in England than for bring drunk and disorderly in the street. go figure.

Indeeed, if we value what we have here we can build better. We all know what big tech is capabkle of, we can all see their lies, we know about embrace, expand and extinguish.

We can see these threats from early on and wont let that threat get very far.

Really good policy and post here, yeah i get sick of the "it was a joke" excuse, it is used in the work place for trying to justify sexual harassment for example.

It may seem funny to the abuser, but the victim sees it as totally the opposite,

I think the issues with wild camping are more complex, **a vast majority of people wild camp responsibly**, however as we have seen during the summer heat waves, one or two idiots spoil it for everyone else, hence we have had massive fires on open ground, or rubbish left strewn everywhere, human waste left on the ground etc etc.
We have even had a disposable BBQ left buried in the sand, found by a child standing on it (as it was still hot) child suffered horrific burns.

How do the national parks balance those of us who are responsible with those idiots who spoilt it for everyone else.

It is those of you who do things properly who end up on the wrong side of these rulings.

I don't see this as intrusive as such, I follow people based on interest. So if you're posting on Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy or some other science based topic then the subject matter is an important key factor,

Also bare in mind, following @nasa or @spacetelescope

foir example you are following organisations that are diverse, but they are more than 1 person so organisations don't generally have pronouns.

I think scripts such as this could be useful for personal research in to how many people from a particular group post about subjects but again, how scientific or accurate is that.

I don't think you will be judged based on your follow list.
