Itts such a shame QOTO is the only place on the internet I've ever known that has a complete lack of toxicity, where everyone is kind to both eachother, and almost always to others....
Yet here we are, drama from the outside :(

From the practical perspective of following the evidence, how is one to tell the difference between a flat-earther, a Trump Supporter, and the tribalism evident in "if you don't 100% agree with me and do as I say, you are the enemy?"
The majority is not like that. We all have our own quirks, but at the end I think most of us will enjoy in a nice "heated" exchange around the same table with a glass of something in their hand.
It is just that a limited number of the same individuals that don't like to be questioned, most often than not, have also the urge to tell others what (how) they should think.
In my experience, they are all sooner or later "cancelled" just as a matter natural progression of things around the table because they are boring.
@pj @freemo Power attracts the corruptible. Power attracts the people who behave this way. So that noisy 20% tend to dominate the other 80% any way they can. And right now that limited number of individuals are trying to kill off qoto.org which, to me, seems the most sane in this mess simply for not being sufficiently "Antifa" or "woke" or whatever the buzz-word of the week is.
@freemo I'm not really into dramas but isolate thousands of people from an instance should not be taken lightly. I know we can create a user somewhere else, but that doesn't seem to be the point.
I guess these are growing pains... But I'm too new to this to opinate much more 😅

@freemo you can't reason with some people, it just drains your energy and isn't worth it. don't get wound up by it! 
it's interesting that the people who flamed me for my opinions were almost universally on the "progressive" instances with huge blocklists. people on more open instances usually just mute or block and go on with their life.
@freemo I'm far too new to have a grasp of all the history here, but I struggle to reconcile my experience with the portrayal of this server by some others.
@Spinybadger I have posted photo evidence of some of it, and described hte history in detail... It started by a few evil actors spreading lies.. and lies with no evidence will always spread faster than trutth with evidence

@louiscouture its not an issue with them messaging me or communicating to me.. Its the fact that they are off there spreading explicit lies that are damaging myself and the servers reputation... When i bother to respond with photo evidence and links showing its lies they just call my attempt to communicate at all harassmentt and ignore it....
