in contrast, these others which I bought more recently are a garbage imitation. the paintbrush-like tips aren't as flexible and they've accumulated this weird ink-gunk. #artsupplies

in learning scales on #ukulele (probably goes just as well for other #guitar-like payments), and perhaps for plucking in general, do you have a dedicated finger per string, or do you move your plucking/picking finger around? I started learning by plucking almost exclusively with my index or thumb based on whatever was comfortable, but I've started using a finger per string for the bilateral stimulus and to improve coordination (presumably. IDK if it really works that way)
A little (now improved) AGC circuit I played with (designed to be simple not the best :) )
Also check out falstad circuit simulator ^^^
@troublewithwords getting my "inspiration" from https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/ for everything like that 😜
Usually I just click "generate" until something clicks.

Where can I learn the history of present-tense historicizing?
By this I mean gestures (by scholars, journalists, artists, victors, victims) toward the surrounding world that ask or answer, "How will capital-H History view this moment?"
When has that been more or less of a thing? Why? With what hope? With what results?
And the followup:
Am I correct in perceiving a modern feeling that we move too fast and dumb for History's paltry justice to be meaningful, now or in some eventual future?
Atypical spoilers
Atypical is a pretty good show. I understand the season one criticisms about including actually autistic talent, but I think they course-corrected pretty well. Also, the relationship between the parents was interesting in how they decided to stay together, but it wasn't "for the kids", but reflected some mutual growth.
Also, I enjoyed the Izzie+Casey storylines. I was already shipping them by the end of their first episode together. I really thought the repair of their relationship after their (dumb) breakup wouldn't make it in, but I think it was handled pretty well for the time they had to do it: wasn't just like a switch flipped, which I was worried about when they broke up so close to the finale
