@AmpBenzScientist @fnord23 I want to find the bit in the source code that says it has to be below 100 Hz. And maybe I'll try to change it, to see what happens. No one bothered to explain why it was set to that value. Maybe it was a false assumption.

@thor @fnord23 I'd recommend an AMD Ryzen based mini PC for the DSP abilities. It should outperform the Pi in everything.

@thor There are some good combat VR games. Beat saber is pretty cool though.

@fnord23 It loads a driver called snd-bcm2835 which appears to have both HDMI and PWM support in there and is partially upstreamed into the mainline kernel (staging). I'm finding the source code very hard to read. I want to know why you can't set short buffer sizes. It's a PWM controlled by a DMA. There should be no lower limit to how short that buffer is, but in practice, it looks like an artificial limit of 10 ms is enforced.

@thor @fnord23 It could be related to the ARM DSP implementation by Bcom. It might require that amount of time.

@TheOldGuy It just lands in Chechnia or an Oblast. Surely nothing bad would happen.

Everything at is now fixed and the all queues are response again. Sorry for todays slowness, but we found the last of the problems from the migration and now fixed that as well.

EVERYTHING WORDS AGAIN!

after another short down time everything is fixed! #QOTO had to recreate an index that got lost in the migration which was slowing down the DB and ...

It's fun to think about what you could do with a ship. Sail straight into random countries, for example.

@thor Terrorize coastal regions until finding a place to become domesticated Nord.

So we found the real problem haunting us. Turns out we didnt even need the bigger database. There was just an index that got dropped during the migration. We are working now to put it back in place. At which point things should be back up to their normal speed.

@thendrix The Abrams can still get one hit killed by the Javelin. That's even with reactive armor.

I don't know what I'm more surprised by, a tank known for losing tracks being used to clear a minefield or it allegedly being destroyed by a Ruskie mine. That had to be a mobility kill. It took large IEDs to kill an Abrams in Iraq.

In other news, the inferior tank was rightfully abandoned before a battle.

@brie I don't think there will ever be a reason to swap from xmpp.
