Tonight I’m feeling small as I realize no amount of pleading will lead my family and friends from other platforms to join Mastodon.

I am not the carrot they need. I am not the stick, either.

So it’s with mixed emotions that I cut myself off from Meta and lose contact with so much of my past, so much of my world. It’s humbling to feel so… irrelevant.

But Meta stole my art, my visage, my pics I shared from my heart to make money for themselves, and they want me pay to reach anyone myself.
