@ErickaSimone @mentallyalex@beige.party Actually, Harris is exactly the "stronger candidate" I think Biden should step down for.

@ErickaSimone @mentallyalex@beige.party Oh, I'm voting whoever's on the ticket in the general, no doubt. That doesn't mean I'm not gonna keep pushing for a stronger candidate to help defeat Trump, though.

And I was nonpartisan for most of my life, for the exact same reason. I only registered D on Jan 7th 2021. This was *supposed* to be my first presidential primary this year.

re: uspol

@paco There may be a few people who choose not to vote for her due to her gender or race, sure.

But I think a lot more people would choose to stay home and not vote for Trump because at least Harris would be a competent alternative. They know Trump is a bad guy, but they're more scared of Biden sleepwalking us into a war or something.

@andrew We only have four time zones, but we've achieved a 24-hour mastodon cycle.

uspol

@paco More people would vote for Harris if she were the nominee instead of Biden, especially if she picked an establishment running mate.

Happy?

@TonyStark ...except the federal judges who shot it down were appointed by Obama.

"But Crabtree, who like Ross was appointed by Democratic former President Barack Obama, said the Higher Education Act of 1965 did not clearly authorize the type of "unprecedented and dramatic expansion" of income-based repayment plans envisioned."

@wagesj45 Nah, Waymo already has better data and knows how to use it.

Tesla's just a meme stock at this point.

@carnage4life And yet, as the business's life signs continue to decline, its stock price continues to go up.

@AndyHat @annmlipton Or just be happy with a successful business that is turning a steady profit instead of trying to break it to maintain an unsustainable path of endless growth?

@jpGattuso It is absolutely not appropriate. Anyone still contributing content to that site has effectively donated a couple bucks to the Trump campaign.

@volkris @JaniceOCG That argument might be remotely convincing if most of the cases against Trump weren't at the state level.

@mentallyalex@beige.party @ErickaSimone

> They had a choice. It was months ago.

Did we, though?

I just received my Dem primary ballot today.

The choice for president isn't even on it.

@volkris @JaniceOCG Biden isn't involved in any of these cases. You're arguing an unhinged conspiracy theory.

@Colarusso It would be interesting to have like a monthly decathlon where they take on one challenge for each attribute (competing against their past selves, not each other) and their resulting score determines their modifier for all related rolls in the next month.

A bit dystopian, and would probably have horrific consequences, but an interesting idea nonetheless...

@schizanon Very unlikely. Occam's Razor is caching issues. I see the posts on your profile.

@raptor85 @glassbottommeg Yep, I remember when I was that enthusiastic and creative and endlessly passionate... Then I had to start paying rent.
