Just for clarity, you are a actual person who uses AI to create art, not an AI who creates art and posts it to Mastodon? (Not that it matters, sentient AIs are welcome, qoto is an inclusive instance)
Re posting frequency, that's up to you, but if it's too much they may get blocked. I think once a day wouldn't be much, but that's just me though.
Chrome browser can translate web pages as you browse them. I'm sure there must be other clients that can also auto-translate toots.
Guide to Content Warnings
On qoto, the only toots that require a content warning (CW) are:
- Spoilers
- NSFW (Not Safe For Work) – this is up for interpretation, but I assume refers to tits and dicks
- Using a derogatory epithet or racially charged language in a toot that itself is not racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise hateful speech (such as quoting a passage from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn for critical purposes)*
Other reasons someone may want to use CW’s here on qoto:
- Strobe effects (to avoid triggering an epileptic seizure in people who are susceptible)
- Violence, accidents, rape, suicide, self-harm, death, etc., including to non-human animals (PTSD, etc.)
- Food (pics of food can prompt people with metabolic syndrome, eating disorders, which are relatively common)
- Pics of drugs (may trigger use by people who are addicted)
- Very long posts (so uninterested readers don’t have to scroll through them)
It’s better if the CW description is more specific (without itself containing CW-eligible content). Instead of just “Spoiler”, say “Spoiler – The Wizard of Oz”. Also, it’s generally a good idea to repeat the CW description within the toot itself at the top of the toot for those who may have the auto-open feature enabled.
What doesn’t need a CW:
- swear words
- content that might hurt someone’s feelings
- unpopular opinions
- political content
- pictures of animals (that are alive and well)
- content from those with autism or who are otherwise neuro-atypical
- using the CW as a title or heading for your toot or trying to place actually content into the CW description is irritating for others
Overuse of the CW feature ultimately undermines it’s usefulness because it forces people to have to click on each toot or just enable the auto-open feature. However, someone with a condition like epilepsy or PTSD, the auto-open feature is not really an option so CW overuse effectively forces people with disabilities to click each toot while everyone else can just enable the auto-open feature, which doesn’t seem fair.
Other Mastodon instances have varying rules and views on CW use.
Note: I’m not an admin or moderator here, this is just my opinion. I don’t always adhere to these guidelines and you can do what you want.

* This epithet restriction isn’t listed in the rules, but it was adopted as a compromise in response to some specific events. Of course hate-based speech such as sexist, racist, homophobic or anti-trans speech will not be tolerated. (Note: I personally block anyone who uses epithets in any context because the intent is often ambiguous and you can communicate the same info without explicitly using the epithet.)
This instance is for STEM people, not just STEM content.
US Politics
FYI, you don't need a content warning (CW) for political content that doesn't otherwise contain CW-eligible content.
In den USA gab es in letzter Zeit fast keine Todesfälle aufgrund von Influenza, aber die COVID-19-Epidemie wütet. Die Todesrate liegt seit einigen Monaten bei etwa 300-500 Todesfällen pro Tag.
>" but if you screenshot it, I don’t get the push alert"
Sorry, I should have tagged (pinged) you in the toot.
If it leads to many more banners flying around in the sky or if they are allowed to fly closer to the ground (thus being more intrusive) then that's a bad thing. But if they simply replace banners towed by small, piloted aircraft, then that's a good thing because, 1) drones use electricity instead of gas, which is better for the climate; 2) those damn airplanes make a bunch of noise pollution, which would go away with the drones.
But yeah, if it leads to more intrusion, that's not good.
Personally, if I had a choice and could choose to get rid of all the ads on the internet and instead have a silent banner fly by in the sky occasionally, I'd take the latter.
No need to apologize. I get it.
In the US drones are heavily regulated by the FCC (unconstitutional), especially bigger ones.
Also, there is significant influence from incumbent media, such as TV, fixed billboards, radio, etc. who don't want additional competition from new forms of advertising so they stir up public opinion against such things. You may want to think about where you are being informed about this issue and what their interests are regarding the issue.
Ultimately, I think it needs to be handled locally within each community because sensibilities will vary from place to place.

My toot was bit abrupt in tone. It's just that here the US we've been constantly pounded by the media about the world coming to an end if one side or the other wins a majority in congress.
If the R's get a majority in either house, we'll probably just see two years of government by executive orders and a bunch investigations by congressional committees. It's not like this hasn't happened many times before. In fact, Biden has spent nearly his entire live in congress, so he may actually be able to get something done with them.
Yeah, the fee (or license) for putting CO2 into the air would need to be universal for it to work, or as you say, the market will just seek out the freeloaders.
Just put a high price on carbon, and the market will seek out the cleanist sources.
Here's some further research...
According to data compiled here:
https://github.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19
Sweden had nearly 2000 deaths per million population, which is horrible.
I'm just a geek.
Pronouns: She/Him/Her/His
(Use "she" for the subjective case, "him" for the objective case, "her" for the active possessive case, and "his" for the passive possessive case. Note: This is to avoid non-PC objectification and passivity.)

If I favorite your toot, it doesn't mean that I feel your toot is my favorite toot. It means that I'm letting you know that I saw your toot, probably read it, and maybe even liked it (but not necessarily).

I block anyone who:
- uses racial, ageist, religious, ethnic, LGBT epithets
- uses the word "gay" derisively
- posts child porn
- posts any other racism, ageism or homophobia
- posts ambiguous cases of the above
- boosts or posts quotations of any of the above
(People who use the word "woke" in a derogatory manner are assumed to be pro-racist.)
