You lost it?

Maybe it's rolling around on the floor.

Tilt

I’m on top of the world
where the sun never sets
in the summer, all the time it gets.

I see the everyday
but it never ever goes away
it just bounces, round and round.

But come the fall
it will touch the ground
and stop its round and round.

Then the cold and dark
the pitch, the stark
long winter, forever night.

I think racism is a form of bullying. When someone is bullying others, often all it takes is one person to stand up and object for the bullying to stop.

But also there is so much out there that people need to pick their battles. It is difficult (and perhaps not helpful) to object every time to every instance.

@Obliterous

We don't want you to be dead.

Are you alright?

@lupyuen

Is this very interesting, but I don't see how this could work. I don't see how overall power could be measured with the temporal resolution required to deduce data portions small enough to give the clues required to read data. Even if you used a scope on, e.g., Vcc, I would think that ambient capacitance would prohibit this.

@trinsec

I'm not sure if folks understood this one. Did you get the joke?

This was supposed to be labeled as a , but I'm sure you've already figured that out.

I don't know if any man has gotten an abortion yet, but it is certainly possible. A few years ago the first pregnant man gave birth. So I imagine that if a tran man got pregnant and didn't want the baby...

Okay, a little more comment...

It's a documentary about a huge traditional music festival or choral festival or something like that in Estonia.

I'm not sure if you are promoting this or commenting on absurd manufacturer's attempts at consumable lock-ins, but here's a cheap DYI room air filter that I've been using for over a decade.

Found this documentary - it was made about a decade before the pandemic, but...

No further comment.

Also, your glasses don't fog up when you're wearing a respirator, like they do when you wear a cloth mask or a loose-fitting earloop mask. But sometimes a filtering facepiece respirator will fog up glassses even if you have it on tight because the exhalation breath comes out from everywhere through the filtering material, even near your glasses.

>"Don't you know what sarcasm is?"

Of course I know what sarcasm is. What I’m not sure of, just reading the naked posting without other cues, is if you are being sarcastic or not. I've made this mistake myself before, many times, posting satirical posts without being clear about it. But now I know that when you say things sarcastically, you need say that it is sarcasm or satire, or people may think you are making a literal statement and hiding behind the sarcasm. Or better yet, just say what you mean directly because there are many racists out there who read that and agree with what you said literally.

Also, the unconscious brain reads the sarcasm literally, so you may actually be promoting racism unintentionally.

@freemo

I thought you just got hired as CEO?

@trinsec @sojournTime @cweickhmann

Sometimes I accidentally use celsius instead of fahrenheit when I say something about the temperature and that gets really confusing...

@trinsec @sojournTime @cweickhmann

We didn't do it. Our ancestors did it (actually your European ancestors did imperial units), but now we are stuck with it.

I use metric as much as possible but many in the US just get a blank look on their faces when they hear k/h or m/s instead of mph, for example. So I need to use imperial units sometimes if I communicate to a US audience.

@Lyudmila

Your post is literally saying that African refugees are second class. I don't think African refugees are second class.

Maybe you are making a satire. If so, then you should say it is satire or better yet just directly say what you think. E.g. - "I think it is wrong that African refugees are mistreated compared to Ukrainian refugees."

Then it would be clear what you are saying. Racists often hide behind satire.
