Ha. Well, my understanding is that marathons are mile based whereas shorter runa than a half marathon are km based... 5k/10ks for example. So I think he could go either way.

My approach is something like...

Use discernment and have humility.

Always consider and evaluate against what you know from scripture, but also know that you're one Christian in the middle of the church age, with thousands of years of millions of Christians using their discernment. Everyone is likely to have some incorrect beliefs, including you. So have grace with others and primarily try to glean the good rather than point out error. We all have our own errors that are invisible to ourselves.

I think there are few primarily issues in theology, and that's where the problems are that need to be addressed, particularly if they're being pushed /taught /promoted. Both Paul and John called out other church leaders publicly in the Bible. But they didn't call out every thing that every person was getting wrong.

Not sure if this directly relates to what you were going for, but just some thoughts.

Running is easier for me than getting out the door to start a run. I got 14.2 miles in today at freezing temperatures in Denver. Feeling great being done.

I want to finish today's run. But I do not want to get out of bed early to start it.

Yep, it's over 100 years old, so I think it's open. I can't vouch for this particular audio, I own it through audible.

"A young man who wishes to remain a strong atheist cannot be too careful of his reading." - C.S. Lewis

"In these pages I have attempted in a vague and personal way, in a set of mental pictures rather than a series of deductions, to state the philosophy in which I have come to believe. I will not call it my philosophy; for I did not make it. God and humanity made it; and it made me." Chesterton's Orthodoxy makes Christian apologetics both compelling and delightful. Here is equilibrium of the mind's reason, the soul's imagination, and the belly's laughter!

Biden's Popularity Skyrockets Among Coveted 1920s Working Class Demographic

U.S.—Many have criticized Joe Biden's new campaign slogan, "No Malarkey," for being out of touch and old-fashioned.But new polls show that the slogan is actually a huge hit among the working class in the 1920s. While a minority said Trump was their man and a few liked some of the other Democratic candidates, over 92% of the 1920s demographi …

That's how I read it too, that gender became assigned to sexless objects, such as calling one's ship "her" or "him".

Here's a photo of the page, pen pointing to that sentence. Good read so far, I'm on the engineer chapter now. Nothing terribly new, but a good and worthwhile presentation. My first read of any book by

Breaking news. President didn't wear tie when getting off a plane. Amazing.

In other breaking news, Trump admitted to making a mistake on this trip, and is probably an impeachable foreign policy mistake:

'First time I've never had any turkey at Thanksgiving. But that is okay. But it looked about good. I should have started with that instead of the mashed potatoes. I made a mistake,' he added.

Educated and well - informed people always have huge gaps in their knowledge of the world.

To all Americans, Happy Thanksgiving Day.

To all of us, what a blessed day to give thanks to God, as all days are blessed.

When you consider what an enormous windfall gain it is to be born in America, it is painful to hear some people complain bitterly that someone else got a bigger windfall gain than they did.

The bills seem reasonable :

The first bill would require the State Department to certify once a year that Hong Kong is sufficiently autonomous to retain its special U.S. trading consideration — a status that helps its economy. Under that designation, the city is not subject to the tariffs that have been levied on China. The bill also sets up the potential for sanctions on people responsible for human rights abuse in Hong Kong.
The second measure would bar the sale of munitions such as tear gas and rubber bullets to Hong Kong police.
