So apparently my choice of paper has been holding me back this whole time. Switched to a new paper designed to be the best for fountain pens. My Blackletter instantly leveled up. Apparently the last paper had just the slightest bit of bleed enough to loose some of the fine detail.

Agreed. I didn't mean to say the packages were a good or harmless thing overall, I should have been more precise.

But I still wonder who would be motivated. If someone who likes Trump, then they're an idiot, as it inevitable turns media stories against Trump. If someone on the left seeking the news pre election, then we have a different problem.

I don't know that anyone knows who is behind it or their motivation, I'm curious. Wouldn't put it past whoever leaked Ford's info for political purposes, but we don't know who that was either.

Context: If some plural forms are missing from a translation, the page that translation appears on breaks, which is why currently some pages don't work when using Arabic

@Surasanji A flex nib is a nib that easilt bends under pressure. When it does the tines spread out and the line width drastically increases. This lets you control line width as you write to create fancy looking letters. Its a form of cursive italic that takes a lot of practice, the other easier form just uses a fixed wide nib and you vary line width by angle.

A flex nib, if its a good at flex, feels more like a paint brush.

We're about ready for rain to stop in Austin, TX. There's a citywide boil water notice going into the third day as flooding in the hill country has resulted in levels of silt in the water that the water treatment plants can't handle. To produce enough to meet demand they've had to dial back the treatment standards. So we're running out of (clean) water because of too much rain.
