@InvaderXan Are you sure "pioneer" is a botanical way of considering plants? I would have thought of it as a proper ecological classification, also because it includes stuff like lichens, which are not just plants, or bacteria.

Oh, it was really meant to be a personal experience more than an approach advise.
I have the feeling that FOSS software, linux included, is getting more and more mature by the day actually... to the point that when I install it on people's machines they barely notice anything, beside the increased performance (and occasionally some game not working).
Just my perception though

Afaik this is more or less what the people at commonspub are doing, a general purpose AP server which should make it easy to implement anything on top ( https://commonspub.org/ )

As there are no decent reviews that I could find, right now I'm just taking all the articles (257 on sciencedirect, couldn't find more elsewhere) and I'm slowly working through them with zotero.
I am on the lookout for sloppy statistics, that is always a good advice, but so far I haven't seen any quantitative data in general... I've only just started though, so I hope to find more.
