so because Im fairly new on this instance I thought I`ll finally write an #introduction toot.

I am Florian, a german #physics master #student working in the field of #quantum #optics. i did some programming in the past as a hobby, now mostly just #python for studying.

Some more progress has been made on my ESP32 WiFi based location tracker. The ESP32 connects to every open WiFi network it finds, it then makes a DNS request to my DNS server with the BSSID. A python script on the DNS server then uses the Wigle.net API to plot the locations on a map.

My TL went from a manageable few posts an hour to (at least) quadrupling. It made the 5 AM morning scroll really tedious today. So I'll just go back to manually browsing it.
