@shibaprasad That's an interesting post, thank you!

We owe the Sumerians and Assyrians for the 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour too.

Their invention, which lives on so long after. Amazing.

I have a really nice Maths book that has some creative ways to teach; one of the pages has a photograph of a Sumerian clay tablet, with the cuneiform writing they used.

And it questions if you can discern a patter. A curious mind will. I loved it, imagine using in class with bright students.

@freemo @shibaprasad Natural systems have population control, but a die off or wide spread destruction, conflicts for resources, water, fuels is not a good way to handle this problem.

Education and promoting birth control would work better, imo.

China and Russia relations are interesting and important. A good novel by Tom Clancy talked about the possibility of Chinese expansion into scarcely occupied Siberia, and it is an interesting hypothesis, what if scenario.

Hypersonic missiles, leave defense shields in the dust. Russia on the lead.

Debt Rattle December 28 2019 | Russia's first hypersonic missile reaches 27x the speed of sound. China is testing 5x. The US? Nothing so far. Not even the claims they can defend vs Russia appear credible.

Letter to a Friend, describing how a project came to be :

Later in the day, relaxing to some nice music, wrote a reply letter to K. She is cool, a great writer and reader, interested and following my blogging closely. K. will be getting a letter, describing the whole process I worked thru.

From a raw webpage View Code, HTML source, through the various steps to turn it into an editable and nicely formatted Blog post. Instructional for those interested?

@freemo @users Oh, no, it's ok.

LOL, people might not even see my own comment, things have been too quiet around here. Miss some of the good people who haven't been around lately.

@freemo @users Shhhhhhh!!

You gave it away, ws trying to see the locals curiosity and analytical skills. LOL.

Oh, bummer. :sad_cat:
