The crossposter that Will mentioned is Very Good -- I use it myself from another instance.

Unfortunately, qoto.org is on the author's blocked domains list, and we can't use it with Qoto.org accounts.

Not to despair, there are others -- all the crossposts I make here from Twitter come via MOA Bridge -- moa.party/ .

A little less polished and user friendly (Crossposter has clear explanations and examples on the Config screens) but it does the job; to witness the many Cat photos I import here into the Fediverse. 😛

How to block an undesired domain : qoto.org/web/statuses/10312657

And to block the local Bot that is sometimes overwhelming -- find one of the posts and select Mute. There's a few of them, by topic, but it will work if you mute them all. (done that myself)

@LanceMason That instance is similar to gab, in hosting right wing and radicalized supporters of the current prez.

I have both domains Blocked, no interest in dialoguing with them. Ask if you are interested on how to do it - any mastodon user can easily make a personal block to any instance they dislike.

Quick and easy too.

Have been enjoying the @slowlyapp@twitter.com app for six months now. Besides great writing and reading, the app is so well designed, as are the awesome stamps we get to use to send our letters around the Planet.

I follow professional media that for some people is qualified as "left wing" and believe in their reporting. The NY Times, The Guardian, The Atlantic, all first class journalism.

Some people counterpoint with clippings or links to obscure "right wing" publications.

Each one of us has the freedom to access and evaluate the sources for information we rely on.

"'Great Lockdown' to rival Great Depression with 3% hit to global economy, says IMF

Latest World Economic Outlook describes shock of coronavirus pandemic as ‘like no other’"

From a report by the IMF - the International Monetary Fund.

As I imagined, the economic impact of the virtual closing of most economies is going to be huge.

""The bicycle is a pleasure for the body and the mind" but in the long winter days often the desire to jump on the saddle is less ... instead of pedaling under a heavy snowfall we want to suggest an alternative or better, 14 alternatives, 14 cycling books to read about bike trips, bicycle touring, adventures and more or less crazy bike riders. Take a seat in the armchair or in front of the fireplace and dive into a paper adventure (for this time!)."

- Not arguing with idiots.

- I don't agree that is the secret of Happiness.

- You are right.
