A new Feature that I found added to Mastodon code,, created by Renato Lond, admin here at masto.donte.com.br.

Kudos, @renatolond , nice work!

His modifications allow for a Local Only, non-Federating Toot -- a feature I have seen and enjoy in GlitchSoc instances, but not seen yet on normal Mastodon instances. Screenshots show just the Toot Editor and the controls for this feature.

I received a reply from Renato explaining :

1. the Chain icon is where Federated or Strictly Local post modes are selected.

@borjaori @Lisisway Pero tambien es posible copiar y colar de otra ventana.

Se una imagem ya está copiada en memoria, basta hacer un click en la caja de edicion de Toot, y colar; el sistema la recebe y comprime en formato PNG para uso.

Es muy facil ese metodo tambien. Buena sorte!

@borjaori @Lisisway solo uso el modo Web en desktop y laptops, se añade media con el paper clip como dices.
