US student detained in Israel for alleged boycott support
In a groundbreaking case, Israel has detained an American graduate student at its international airport for the past week, accusing her of supporting a Palestinian-led boycott campaign against the Jewish state. The case highlights Israel's concerns about the boycott movement and the great efforts

@arteteco I was only there for 24 hours. But the people were over the top nice. Not like just polite nice, but actually went out of their way to help me. One guy at the airport saw I was stranded and drove me 45 minutes to the nearest city and didnt ask for anything in return.
Assange, who is currently stranded in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London with no outside communication except with his legal team, has a pretty grim outlook on where humanity is going.
He says it will soon be impossible for any human being to not be included in global databases collected by governments and state-like entities.
"This generation being born now… is the last free generation. You are born and either immediately or within say a year you are known globally.
Your identity in one form or another - coming as a result of your idiotic parents plastering your name and photos all over Facebook or as a result of insurance applications or passport applications - is known to all major world powers."

@djghettoredneck Great to have you here. I'm the founder of this instance. Let me know if you have any questions, need help, or even just want to chat :)
@cambridgeport90 Anytime, sorry I couldnt do more.
@cambridgeport90 I cant speak to TeamCity only to say that very few people use it compare to jenkins or any of the ones I listed.
$45 a month for anything software is virtually free, unless thats per-user or something.
@cambridgeport90 jenkins is the only one of the three you listed I have worked with. Its pretty standard, gets the job done. But it feels like old tech with a really crude way of doing things. I get the feeling it will go obsolete in the near future since so many people have already stopped using it.
@cambridgeport90 The ones I listed should support most languages. gitlab ci is docker based so truly supports anything you can think up
@cambridgeport90 I prefer travis, circle ci, or gitlab CI
@MOTT why not?
@MOTT When you pick one let me know, ill sign up for an account just so i can look around (probably will just be a lurker though since i have qoto)
@MOTT lol sounds like you already made up your mind then. But I cant offer much insight on those options sadly.
