The thing is, you can add whatever is in the projects best interest to the roadmap, but devs wont work on anything they dont want to... money can be the equalizer there of course

That is very true. I often tell companies our roadmap is defined by what **I** and other devs care about. You want a say you need to be a dev.

@cwebber@octodon.social I dunno. i think the idea of freeloaders is kinda short sighted from a dev standpoint, When i say free I mean free, I am happy for corporations to use my work and to thrive and expect nothing in return. Thats not why we (or at least me) do it. If I wanted tit-for-tat id sell my stuff.

@trinsec there is a japanese resteraunt and italian at the hotel. So atleast in this mega hotel-resort place there are options. But im stuck in my room and cant really go there.

That said im not too sure how much variety there would be out on the streets here. Ask me again in a week when im out of this leg brace.

Them acting inapproprietly is no more acceptable. I agree the left is deplorable. We wouldnt tolerate the violent left here either. In general, dont be violent :)

No arguments there. That said I wouldnt support the lefts tactics of violence/doxxing on qoto anymore than I'd support it from the right.
