@MOTT Archlinux, I actually have a farm of similar last gen computers. My other one has 4 last gen watercooled gpu too, the others are more affordable air cooled but 6 cards per box instead of 4.. So have a pretty decent sized farm to work with. This one is my desktop too and the flagship of the lot.

Just found this Jesus candle in my mom's room. I think she thinks it's serious. Lol I'm done.

So my desktop has 32 CPUs and 64 gigs of memory, and 2x nvme 960 pro in RAID 1 configuration. Not to mention 4x Vega 64 water cooled frontier edition graphics card (for OpenCL work).

I'm not even sure I can call this thing a Desktop Computer anymore, its more like a low-end supercomputer. No matter what I throw at it it responds instantly. What a fucking beast!

@MOTT To be more specif it will likely take place sometime between this thursday amd monday.

I was bed ridden for a month and a half. From now till wed im just cleaning the house which gets surprisingly disgusting when you cant bend over. After that I have through the weekend to catch up to my open source world contributions which includes my qoto stuff and several other projects I lead on.

If all goes well monday at the latest. I'll also add the link to te source on our about us page for easier future access.

@SecondJon I think "left" means a lot of different things to different people. For the purposes of this meme it mostly just means whatever you self describe as with the caveat that libertarians are not "lefy" or "righty" since they are classically liberal so not really self described as either group.

@MOTT In the next few days (im dealing with backlog due to my back) I will be updating everything. The mastodon version (which is a bit of a process since we have custom code patches to port) and the certs. As for the code, it is posted, just search git for QOTO, if you cant find it let me know and ill send you the link. It is public though.

A picture of an early prototype for my ROES SWR meter and VNC. I later had to completely redesign the hardware for version 1.0, but the UI is still pretty similar.

This week I hope to add a frequency counter to the design and work towards a v2.

@Algot I dnt use a landline for exactly that reason. I prefer all my voicemail converted to text too.

@Algot Well if they are known spam then they get autoblocked and it never rings. If they are spam but not reported as such yet then it shows you the text version of what they say in real time. If it indicates a spam call then you can click "report spam" and they will get a recording to remove your number, they are reported to the database as spam and autoblocked in the future. Furthermore since the conversation is recorded if they call you again then they are automatically reported as not complying with law.

@celesteh Good move, the definition was never really the important part of what was being said anyway. So I agree, mostly just a distraction.

@celesteh The specific definition isnt particularly important for the assertion I was making which really just boils down to which of the two groups a person identifies as being in. Which in turns dictates the sort of people they are around and the habits they pick up.

@comphys I already have relatively high end spectrum analyzers and scopes. I even have several directional couplers 3 of which I made myself. The issue I have had with all the directional couplers I used so far is they tend to either not support the power or vary with frequency. I need to give it another go but success has been limited.
