@Timboslice
Lol that is some impressive mental gymnastics. I quoted multiple people, not just lee, all the founding fathers made it quite clear that the freedom to bare arms was for every citizen, not just with the primary intent of well regulated militia (which was used only as an example of why its needed and these quotes makes that clear).

What about Mahmood? He spent 5 years becoming a citizen, as long as he has never done anything illegal to loose that right he can own as many guns as he wants.

@Timboslice As for the idea that the founding fathers primary intent was to only arm people in militias, this is so easily debunked its laughable. Not only did they state time and time again the right to bear arms exxtended to all people, but they also debunked explicitly the notion that the militia was a specific organization or group.

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."
- Thomas Jefferson, Virginia Constitution, Draft 1, 1776

"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
- Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776

"To disarm the people...[i]s the most effectual way to enslave them."
- George Mason, referencing advice given to the British Parliament by Pennsylvania governor Sir William Keith, The Debates in the Several State Conventions on the Adooption of the Federal Constitution, June 14, 1788

"I ask who are the militia? They consist now of the whole people, except a few public officers."
- George Mason, Address to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, June 4, 1788

“A militia when properly formed are in fact the people themselves…and include, according to the past and general usuage of the states, all men capable of bearing arms… "To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them."
- Richard Henry Lee, Federal Farmer No. 18, January 25, 1788

@Timboslice You are right about one thing, your arguments are hilarious. You sound like a triggered little toddler having a tantrum, very amusing.

@maunye If a country invades another without provocation I think we would have a duty to get involved no matter how big a war it might cause. Not doing so would just make the situation worse long term as that would cause an unethical player to accumulate even greater power and be harder to stop by the time they get close to home.

It was then that she began to realize that software versioning might be more complicated than she had ever imagined...

@mc i like the smell of all of it as long as it isnt cigarettes and as long as im not the one smoking it.

@icedquinn I cant think of too many counterexamples to that, so yea

@icedquinn yea the fake bs was turned up to 11... which i dont get because there was plenty of legit reasons to dislike him so no need

@icedquinn at least the orange dude got the nazis to like him, no one likes Biden :)

@freemo shitting your pants all day and fulfilling zero campaign promises will do that.

@icedquinn The few campaign promises he did fulfill are the ery ones people no longer want (like more covid restrictions)... so yea

Man approval rating has consistently plummeted since he got elected. Its pretty close to and at this rate before the end of his term will likely be significantly worse.
