I've been using the chrome google translate extension for a few weeks now to translate foreign language posts in my feed. It has done an amazing job virtually every post seems to translate and the translation seems well enough to communicate and get the original intent.
How is this not a built-in mastodon feature!

Sadly looks like Trump is going to get reelected. Hoping Pete wins though so I can vote against trump. Only thing that would cause me to not vote democrat is if one of the evil three win (Biden, Warren, Bernie)
I am so happy about the Iowa Caucus results. I wasnt a Pete fan or anything but I knew if one of the evil three (Biden, Bernie, Warren) would have won it would have probably forced me into voting for Trump. But to have Pete win it seems there might actually be a viable option for me to vote for someone half-decent against Trump and get him out of office, so excited about this.

@freemo The problem is that there is *no* education around vaccines these days, either medical or holistic :) I have talked to a group of senior vaccinology doctors in Poland last year and asked them when was the last countrywide vaccine information campaign - and their response was a blank stare :) So in a way, medicine is losing the war with anti-science scammers by walkover.

The climate change itself that resulted took about 4,000 years to fully take effect.
People often say how Climate Change might be a natural process but people don't realize how absurd that is and why scientists laugh at the very idea. Even unnatural climate change like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs is much MUCH slower than the climate change we are witnessing today. Literally there has never been a point in the history of life on earth where global temperatures have changed as quickly as they are changing now.

@khird Ideally the images would have some very light animation. Most of the animation I would do on my end via CSS moving the objects around. Though there may be need for something small like the astronaught waving or something that wouldnt be easy to do in CSS. All in all if the artist cant or doesnt want to do the animation part I can make do with just the CSS part.
As for number of images, I'm flexible. I'm thinking maybe 10 - 20 small images of various things I can insert.. A spaceman loating in space, a space station, an image of earth, a planet or two. I'm willing to give the artist a lot of creative license here but can also dictate all the details if its easier.
My idea is this, as you scroll you first see a person in a space suit floating with a cable attached to them. That cable will wind through the entire scroll vertically which will pass through various scenes (like a planet or space station or a UFO flying past, whatever).. then at the end of the scroll will be a space station next to earth (the cable will connect to the space station or perhaps a nearby ship at the end). I will then add various text blurbs and boxes through the scroll too.
