I recently bought an Ercu sweater only to realize ercu is exactly the same color as white after you use too much bleach on it and it turns yello.... shoulda went with a different color.
As of 12 minutes ago it is now officially my birthday!
I just went to smithereens for a visit... horrible place to visit, nothing but blown up debris everywhere, it was a wasteland!
Recently I havent gotten into to much of the new Star Trek because I felt it lacked the most interesting aspect of the serious: deep philosophical considerations when it comes to morality and cultures.
I just started watch Star Trek Strange New Worlds and I have to say I am impressed. While clearly a modern take it feels like it captured the spirit of the original the other remakes lacked.... really liking this.
If you have a pet and dont buy each other matching outfits then what are you even doing with your life!

@freemo The LaTeX requirement will definitely thin the herd! (I really like LaTeX right up until I need to collaborate with someone that doesn’t use it)
Its a lot of fun that I am starting a company from scratch and get to hire everyone and make all the rules... For example I am making sure that every single person I hire is comfortable with using linux and open-source tools, and writing documents in latex and markdown. Even management. It is pretty sweet!

There is no excuse for this and no one should be praising hamas.
Just as there was no excuse when the IDF used children of a similar age as human shields and got called to international court on war crimes for it (And refused to show)..
In the end anyone taking **either** side as the good guy is morally corrupt. The hammas are evil, the IDF is evil, full stop.
I always find it idiotic when people argue "Democrats are right wing by european standards"... lol there is no relative standard for center, it is an absolute... what they should say is "democrats are farther right compared to the average in europe". But to suggests they are right of center has little basis in reality. Their policies may not be as extreme left as politicians in europe, but they very clearly are left of neutral/center

Sadly, we keep conditioning each other to interpret things we say in an indirect fashion. See e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfLdFZ4my9g (comedic fiction, but the mechanism is IMO real) and consider why would the passengers be alarmed by an announcement that tells them something they are pretty sure is true.
