Financial regulation can change what you do in your job (example implementing; digital back-doors / KYC / kill-switches etc into software or almost anything)...
and this is evident in efforts again Bitcoin and other competition to the mainstream...

You're jobs can be changed to help work towards evil. Legal changes etc are all happening to be more precise slowly but surely.

The force behind this and what effects everything is the Central Bank wanting to force their own Digital Currencies. (monetary demons / parasites).

Changing the future of money changes *many* other things- perhaps everything.

Long Version

As usual any job can be used against you as it pays your bills so in many ways they (gov / banks) can change the standards / the rules / regulations by ask you to do things which end up working again the common good when people do whatever people say for money.

Implementing a standard backdoor or similar is what I'm getting at. It's going to be very real if standards are set by government for whatever xyz reason similar to the typical 'safety' reasons or 'preventing fraud'... etc

As a stark example people in war were making bomb parts and didn't know it, so if that's possible (similar to how codes can be put together) then you might not even know you implementing the components if you're part of something you don't see. So again compartmentalizing or making something a feature can seem good one day but then be together to be a weapon the next...

Anyway there is a pattern happening across all sectors - leaning towards people getting people in jobs to do what industry / gov wants - all backed by banks allowing wages to go through. You are also included in this pattern I mention and I give you an 'inevitable' factor when coming down the ladder of alignment and looking who can implement it the software developers stark going dark in order to get paid (live)

Rather than squash weeds a better return-on-investment is through jobs force you softly over, or all in one go, to do things different (and this we know is true from having jobs I think for any of us).

Although I'm not the most articulate I believe the pattern has long been happening and the COVID stuff accelerating it somewhat... going for people through their wallets, livelihood etc is the best tactic and always was. Eventually making it harder and harder not to do what they said or choose your ethics over your job until there might be no jobs left (I would advise you to fight to change your existing rather than leave and let a fresh developer step into the mess and expect them not to bend)

Developers are the way for government and that means you as a developer are being targeted same as the next tools and leverage to force change for them or trojan horse whatever it is they don't want unless they regulate it (alternate currencies are one example).

Coolio and Wonder performed the song live at the Billboard Awards in 1995. Billboard listed it at number 69 on its "Greatest Songs of All-Time".

Almost 100% this is cloaking the link for various reasons or getting evn more data using parameters in the new short link (or code)...
mostly bad stuff, It's shorter but a combination code connected to their databased.

LONGER LESS POLITE VERSION

ALL YOU A$$HOLES who think links are innocent, youtube / Google is innocent and other people are not clever enough to infiltrate your groups THINK AGAIN. It's begun since a while and time to wake up and fix habits before they fix you!

Basically you end up spying on your friends by sharing things and allowing your computer to record in another link your info.

Computers are very clever now and the ignorant or 'less-unaware' lazy actions add to all problems (you don't think they want to do everything manually do you?)

Clever code has helped to allows this. Code and links measurably worry me how instant and capturing the data is from one side sent to some unknown BigTech company.

Quite similar to surveillance, espionage, undercover work, your clicking of short links automated include where you're from, thesite you came from, and other data which allows wrapping people as groups from link, mapping of people (location, device etc), who it's been given it to or where is was talked about. SUPER FOR Shutting down things.

Is worrying if globalism is increasing (the mess made by corporate and financial-based people) because it's most likely this will be used against us all again just to get more and more money or cause more and more anti-resistant data. This is dangerous to give this much info away in 1 click!

DICTIONARY / WORDS - shitposting

A shitposter to me also has another less-mainstream meaning... not common so this is another take on it...

It's a normal-looking kind of shit post BUT interestingly it's not from a typical shitposter expressionism (let's call it that for now) but it can also be a normal person who basically just writes in short for everything and can't do long reading or writing and is like the average-Joe-type-of-ignorant... and therefore might look and write like someone who doesn't care what you wrote or seems to be normal among others who don't engages / ignore mass from lack of investment in people / assume negatively and are pessimistic and generally just has their own self in mind more than what you say or even repeat in different ways... ^^
:) strange similarities huh (this is why definitions seem to be on same boundary as if normal people are actually quite close to shitposters, just repulsive to some onlookers)

DISCLAIMER:
So this is not the normal example or description of shitposting / shitposter but even the normal or clever person often surprise me more than my own servers efforts as they hit a hit middle and are more engaged without limits... and if you can skim fast *actually* they have good point (without looking too much as a the obviously not-so-good parts)...

CONCLUSION
So it's interesting that the more 'professional' shitposters can be more entertaining AND hit better points than normal people from being too safe or engaging-but-not-really-engaging their thought's...

- Following a group is done a few ways but I found this way as 100% / BEST WAY so far:

Step 1. Find the name of any group (on a.gup.pe/ website)... "Plants" group for example...

2. Put name "Plants" with @ before it in Mastodon Search Box (the top left box):
@plants (and hit enter)

3. The Mastodon search result will show @ plants @ a.gup.pe (without the spaces) as a group

4. Click :follow: to follow group!
Done!

(If you see two entries in the search results then one might be an old server from before - just follow what the newest which is "a.gup.pe" <--- newest has extra "a." in the address)

MAKE A GROUP !

- Anyone can make a group.
It's done in 2 ways (your choice both is ok and can't go wrong even if you do both)

METHOD 1 - New groups can be created in the Mastodon Search box. So at the same time as when you use the search to search for it then the group it's automatically made for you in the process if it doesn't already exist! Then it shows up a few seconds later!

METHOD 2 Another way to create group is to *mention it* in a post and also at the same time it is created for you.
Example if I mention:
@ Freeschool @ a.gup.pe (without spaces) then the group will be made!

This group it's now created and if you start typing @ freeschool then you can autocomplete @ Freeschool @ a.gup.pe

SUMMARY
Whatever method you choose from it will create a new group name as you do that method and it will show up when you put that in search box results or mention it in future!
*Immediately* anyone else looking can find the group!

It will not show in the a.gup.pe/ website as it has to be more populate to show up there... and better for privacy not to show the smaller groups.

MY OTHER COMMENTS:

I personally like they way to create group using no external signup AND using existing Mastodon account.

The Mastodon search box name provides a direct and powerful interface to see things
e.g. "@ freeschool @ a.gup.pe " shows " freeschool " group.

After creating group you can post and mention the group name to people in your group and can be quite private.

HOW TO SEE POSTS?

Posts show up in timeline like following a person.

To see posts just Mastodon search box in Mastodon with group name (like @ plants) and then click the group name to natively show the existing posts.

I don't think you can enable notifications on these groups (yet) but the usual mentioning / replying / favouriting can show you immediately someone read it or replied.

POST IN A GROUP !
To post to a group yourself, mention the " @ plants @gup.pe " address (without spaces) in your post. If you start typing @plants now it will attempt to autocomplete for you so just select the a.gup.pe address from that and you don't have to type out the full address!

Just remember for posting just the group name is needed... use @group and autocomplete will do the rest in your compose box and you can choose the appropriate.

If you delete-redraft post don't worry it will only show once - I re-draft my posts a lot so I know !

@GuppeGroups helps actively grow your network of people around topics of interest. So if two unconnected people both participate in same group, it will cause them to become connected and see each other.
Hashtag doesn't have this unless you happen to post at same time and look yourself at hashtag page more aggressively / manually etc.
The Guppe group way *let's you* know and choose to follow it more actively listening.

Hashtags are more a way of organizing toots and checking when you want (not sure if a tool exists or worth it for high-traffic hashtags)

POSTING TO GROUP VIA PUBLIC OR UNLISTED POST?

"Public" in your post setting (when writing any post) will get it seen asap.

"Unlisted" level of post means everyone in the group will still get it, but it won't appear in local or global timelines, just when someone is looking in the group specifically.

Debian for the win!... Long-term less-for-profit growth and for the ❤️ end-game... 

What Debian has done well is make it less purchasable - i.e. keeping it more for volunteers / non-profit which eventually keeps the best check for it's own progress and less elements monetary elements.

As a non-profit it's better calculated in the long-term "for the love of it" and non-corporate type of efforts.

Being bought and taken over happens constantly today - so no surprise when *yet again* something good then gets bought out / changes hands / new leaders / put to sleep etc.

Debian people can die happy they didn't sell out. Poor people tied to what they love rather than momentarily rich / bad exchanges with wrong people.

WHY IS THE "GO" GAME PICTURED IN THIS POST...?
The idea in the picture refers to the game "go" which often suddenly has your pieces flipped over and captured by the other person (the other team in this case which is the monetary team / governments / banks etc - "the dark" or uncaring side)...
Playing the money games would effectively turning your 'piece' of work and love into a "dark" one day inevitably as time goes on and it gets bought or sold or more involved financially at risk etc (it's all risky business money and in the hands of wrong-minded people).

The Go game is the analogy later down the line as you see all your pieces get flipped to the opposite colour and hard work captured... even worse locked off (this is the kinda of default for the Matrix we live in and want more sharing of instead).

Not "scaling up" using money is another way to see quality prevail and less toxic elements mixed in to decision making. The expectation without speed is that quality is maintained and the main focus, andeven slow cooking is better than hard and fast..
Speed via money (banks and companies, feelings from money by people) damages things and often crashes it knowingly (to get the tax or infrastructures bult only then for government to take over / regulate it).

So it's about keeping our monumental slow-progress ours and non-purchasable / less designed to be bought.

Pictured = (1) Can't open posts *natively* (in same window) if they have no text! Try find a post yourself and see if you can open without opening new tab!

Pictured (2) Another post with text you *can* click open natively by clicking on it's text (no new window needed)
