a frustration with myself and my education is that I spent years trying to answer the question of why software systems struggle with basic shit like this. now I think the answer, more than anything else, is capitalism. there is not really any incentive to build systems that interoperate with your competitor, so very little resources are dedicated to that. but interoperation is crucial to building robust usable systems, so you end up building deficient stuff because the market demands it.
Do mention if you like why you're not sure..,. or any comment.... how it's not a clear yes or no (which of course it never is but even 80% could be a yes more than unsure...)
So if really unsure like 50% what the other 50% for you?

@freeschool bricks are older than the pyramids, and there's a bunch of still-standing brick buildings older than the US in Europe, especially in the west, since the more eastern parts really like their wood.

No photo for a while...but here's one from a few days ago, a beautiful little grape #hyacinth.
Like most people in our area we have quite a lot of those in our #garden. Their wonderful blossoms area such a great sign of early spring.
This specific one grew tall enough for me to get my camera below it and use the leaves in the foreground as bokeh, while a setting evening sun painted everything in a beautiful, warm light.
