Like healthier biology & plants, growing each other. This should be our focus (we have enough computing around us but less love for ourselves AND others). Growing others should be our business (mutual self-interest while minimizing monetizing / Capitalism but not ignoring it exists and we need parts of Capitalism for "growing" people physcially but can advance in the mental sense that people in Captialsm want to subdue). "Free School" for everyone towards "Freedoms".
FreeSchool = Learning / Respecting / Loving / Teaching ourselves giving each other Freedom.
Almot what your parents didn't tell you or missing pieces (the truth / reality) and then walking through it together, warts and all on the Fediverse.
You can re-build your mind as can I. This assumes you don't think you are perfect (nor do I) and have room to grow... right?

@freeschool Here are some more pics. The long rail is what's used to start the cuts. Lag bolts hold it to the log, then the mill slides down it to make a straight first cut. Then the saw rides down the log. Simple adjustment for thickness desired.
I use a ripping chain on the saw's 28" bar. Regular cross cut chains suck for milling.

Short-cuts can cheat yourself too by avoiding work that is healthy / good exercise or housekeeping.
Imagine always taking a taxi and in many ways that being a minus.
Imagine needing fuel to pump water, and that being a bad trade-off / externalising energy problems / over-use of petrol etc
Overall making it unsafe for when oil or machine is missing or can't. A well, a bicycle or something smaller can do well so it's not always so easy / over-burning energy.
Generally assuming big machines will always be there instead of using more what we have as hands and legs (not all machines working for example).

I'm still living in that era in some way... and not wanting to move on... I think advancing in some ways like data storage and speed was good but keeping it at those data and technical levels were actually not so bad... and even ecological in the today if we compare it so and re-focus why we do things (not just play)...
Hard to say what I mean but minimalism and basics somewhat as foundations is what may outlast it all and if we can face to face upgrade humanism and almost not tech any more since we maxxed it or realised it's unhealthy / Googlised limits from others supplying and performing services for u$...

Finally gave in and implemented a #PHP-based #webmail site. It's mystifying to me that every suitably scoped and competently implemented and maintained webmail server is written in PHP.
PHP was the bee's knees back in 2001 or so, but we don't live in that world anymore and there's been no excuse for its boundless, stunningly comprehensive awfulness for at least a decade and a half now.
Needless to say I've got it behind HTTP authentication so #botnets can't get to it.

(I'd like it to be positive but it's more reality probably)
█ Everyone ignores or blocks non-credible people (those not employed or non-titled mostly)
█ Just professionals / paid by state remain and interact since they are more financially able.
█ Fediverse mirrors reality and becomes more of a safer LinkdIn and works mostly for Technologists perhaps reflecting those who developed it.
Other less important things
█Emotions stay undeveloped
█Whole type of people disappear:
The Last Samurai / Crazy / American Indian / Minority / Artists... common people realise it's the same game here as it is anywhere... a bit safer for sure but not going anywhere in mindset change / unification / defence.
█Just a kind of <weak> social but occasionally <strong>-looking.
█Professionals Time-killing mostly or fiddling with cool stuff only they will use...
The rest die out from lack of belief in them, lack of imagination from others, no trust or attention or building with or living for...
Machine-orientated people basically remain as probably majority of people posting or as usergroups.

The profile here mentions a whole mix of stuff so the candle was always going to burn out or something would always trip the wire... but I obviously repeatedly don't get people how people are really ADHD, autistic, scared, smoke weed etc...
It's like talking is fine and then like a big mood swing without checking with me and even before I say it's not a joke or how could it be- so some good chat, then a bit of sensitivity somewhere (wasn't clear) and they are off like a bat / scared dog... it really is like "what happened dude why leave the conversation or block?"
BUT here's "BeAware"s profile description below just to say it's probably normal with people with self-diagnosed with disorders (or however to politically correctly say it).
