New Nove 30 ocean currents. The Southern Bleed is increasing. If it keeps going, then it's a major ice age. Last year, it stopped by now.
Yeah, another spurious correlation. Started with earthquakes, such clouds and weather predict earthquakes. Now it's all over the place. The key is a lack of hard mechanism. Such as carbon warming.

@cambridgeport90 They're the dang *North* Fae. I'm Canadian. I know what I'm talking about. They let me see the wolves coming down the Humber Valley, but seeing polar bears would be a bit much.
@cambridgeport90 Since I'm projecting the end of our warming cycle and a coming micro ice age, the North Fae will be able to come down to Toronto, riding their very healthy polar bears.
@cambridgeport90 Dark, cynical humour is bad habit. I was inspired by your bio to write mine, so you bring to mind Luna from Harry Potter. That's why I don't use my 'mountain of sarcasm' sigil any more, I don't write it. Watch 'Love by the square foot' on Netflix. It's pure humour.

Ouch, I just cleaned up my saved passwords on Google Chrome. All my kids have gone through my account. So many passwords that I don't want to know! Good thing they are masked.

@khird The main thing the lapse rate covers is getting heat energy from the surface of the earth to the very upper atmosphere. This is 100% convection according to physics. Then the heat energy is radiated out, and Earth acts like a heat bulb. The controversy is in the predominant mechanism of moving heat energy in the atmosphere. No split is allowed -- only one is the winner.
