Not enough neon lights- more likely to be Batman

@freemo
You sound like a friend of mine who thinks the same way about prospective employers.
>>They seem like a great company to work for.
<<We'd like you to lead our experienced team!
>>I knew it was too good to be true...

@sm0rux
Thanks for the heads-up. I couldn't find this on any Godaddy-hostef page to verify. I did find one other source that confirms.

You're a weeb if you like comics, cartoons or anime. Most people are donned the cap and don't even know it.

Was listening to latest on and wanted to clarify something about naming conventions.

-Many names are pulled from geographic locations(mostly west coast US)
-Many names are in reference to either it's architecture or performance.

When looking underneath the cover of Cpu/Pch with a microscope, there are what resembles lakes, canyons, etc. Internally, no-one them by their spec-names eg "..2200k.." but have inhouse terminology thats 10x shorter.

So why the long name?

It makes it easier/clearer on BoM lists. Intel research wasn't initially meant for everyday consumers- so this goes back quite a long time ago to when most people who wanted the parts had to be specific because they cost a lot more than they do today. Refunds on experimental bleeding tech were not common inb4 the Arpanet.

No, not a spokesman- just someone who loves learning my techy roots.

Kiddy clay? I believe the politically correct term is "Playdough"

@shibao @skadi
Legal partnership?
Social conglomerate?
Mutual benefactors?

I guess there's more than one way to put friendship into legislative terminology...

Regardless, tbh I find friendships to be difficult to make and harder to maintain. This again- might be my own undoing rather than an accurate observation inevitable of social patterns.

@skadi @shibao
Makes logical sense, but I'm my experience that is very unreliable. Then again I could just be weird.

Am I cursed?

@freemo @hackernews@die-partei.social
But Santa delivers presents around the world! D: Just like TomHanks/Wilson! Or at keycaps banned in Egypt? That would be news to me.

@shibao
There's a few pieces of advice one should always consider:::

-Never meet your idol
-Your doppelganger is always out to get you

With that in mind, I would be satisfied with a simple nod or 'nice shirt'. That would keep the purity without stirring things into a tarnished-memory-turned-spat.

Merry Christmas??? :D
For the artesians- $65 a ring keycap isn't bad, that's a great deal! Especially since it looks like the writing on the rings glow in the dark!
