@marathon0 I'm staying with Twitter for now. This place is a gated community; I hope that changes. Afaic, this account is just for connecting with people who might get bumped from Twitter and come here (I follow Chad Loder here), but while many of my regular Twitter friends now have Mastodon accounts, only one seems to actually use it.

A new feature for all of us that can't spell. You can now edit your toots, either by pressing E or typing :edit. If you want you can also use it as a leader and it is named edit.

You not just want to open https URLS but also follow a #Gemini link, somebody posted in a toot?
Simply add this snippet to your $HOME/.config/tut/config.ini in the [open-pattern] section or create it if it doesn't exist yet.
(Amfora is the name of the TUI application to display gemini pages. Replace it with your preferred gemini client or use #amfora, it's great 😉)

To expose Eiugen on yet another lie... here is a link to all the changes that occured to our ToC over the last 6 months. As can clearly be seen the only changes made were stronger protections for the LGBTQ and a removal of the phrase "free speech".

Which means the only perceived changes he could mean are either greater protections to LGBTQ groups or he is caving tto the misinformation spread by snow.

I already cover the emails (which were sent only to admins with email addresses that welcomed administrative contact). They servered the purpose of alerting them as to Snow's disinformation and an attempt to set the record straight.

Due to recent events, a lot of people are joining the Mastodon™ Network™ leading to a lot of discussions that may get overwhelming at times.

Thankfully, Mastodon™ has a solution to hide specific topics: word filters.

First, open the settings in the sidebar of your genuine Mastodon™ instance. Then scroll down until you see the item "word mutes".
Here you can add topics you don't want to see in your timeline. Feel free to copy the topics from our screenshot for some reasonable defaults!
