This is not an unusual sight during #RuralBroadband installations in #EasternPoland, a few kilometres from the border with Ukraine, but they usually don't fly so close. Fortunately for us the military helicopter flew high enough to not clip the internet terminal we put on a tall mast on the house :)

Today is the #WorldWetlandsDay. I can only hope that this place, which I pass many times on my way to work, will still be so wet in the coming years.

A NATO E-3B Sentry is watching our dogs, #IdąPsięta, from the sky. Pietruszka, the #IdaPsięta operations specialist, is watching NATO from the ground. It took a while, but she got used to it and barks only once in a while. NATO doesn't bark back.

Another #RuralBroadband installation. And we have a nice site for backup IPOAC just off the premises. We normally use pigeons, but if our customers managed to live here without Internet for 4,000 years, they'll be happy with a backup that works only in the summer. Standard #BirdMigration problems.

The fungi are probably tinder fungus (Fomes fomentarius) but I don't know much about mosses so I can't id them. Interesting symmetry. I guess I should go there again and check if another tinder fungus is growing under that moss.

Spotted a few days ago – those pictures were taken from the inside of our house. That poor weasel has the wrong color for this weather and is now easy prey.
