That old linden tree in the forest is slowly falling apart. A huge branch fell recently and we now have an idea of what's killing it – the smaller branches grown into the main branch are not linden – they're mistletoe.
Good news: that old apple tree in an abandoned orchard in a nearby forest is blooming. Bad news: we expect freezing temperatures over the next few nights. Hope it survives – those apples are delicious.
