I would like some comparison with #Clojure and Clojurescript. Is there any advantage vs the pragmatism of CLJ?

Beautiful day to have finished a book while the kids played outside @ericnormand #Clojure #NotClojure #GrokkingSimplicity
Interesting read! Thanks. I am partial to #clojure and the lisps, which he doesn't mention -- lisps might fall behind his call for "modern" languages (because of their age, though this is actually a bad indicator for them), and Clojure definitely disagrees with him about types, but strong agreement on immutability and functional thinking.

Debugging missing information in this #Clojure graphql-using system I wrote a couple years ago. Trouble is, I don't remember how I made it, and haven't touched graphql since then. I guess I'll take credit that it has worked reliably til now.

https://www.jamesshore.com/v2/blog/2005/microsoft-gets-tdd-completely-wrong Nice old article on Microsoft getting TDD wrong in ways that many others have mistaken, too. Essentially, they suggested "waterfall-style TDD" which is a contradiction of terms. #TDD is meant to be fast and iterative. It is an absolute joy in #Clojure Cider (and presumably other toolings and languages), where you re-run the failing test with every re-evaluation, watching for that joyful green light to say that now you've passed. https://www.jamesshore.com/v2/blog/2005/microsoft-gets-tdd-completely-wrong
