@tost discoverability is a good thing. Did *nix start it with man pages? CLI is a beautiful thing, despite some old fashioned appearances. But sed/awk do scare me a little...

@yogthos@mastodon.social You're speaking my language. Narrative in the mind is literally my research area. I don't think there's anything particularly western about this propaganda, though. I think it is simply a feature of how society works to the best of our knowledge right now. Isn't the issue when actors are not being transparent about their intentions -- ie they are trying to influence selfishly and secretly?
