I have this question with Parham, and just got blown away by an answer about Fulcro #Clojure

God, the insane power of asking someone "but what are you actually trying to do?"

@lambdaisland: Many Clojure developers, myself included, rarely work with commands like java directly, instead of using lein, boot, or Clojure. But... ;)

Greenlabs, a South Korean startup, made a bet on Clojure by including it in their tech stack and recently took in *$140 MILLION* in funding!
Why is this not bigger news in the Clojure community? This is enormous validation for startups to use this language! Blow this shit up! https://twitter.com/namenu_/status/1484172540310614021
Turns out there is already some good discussion about the out-moded demise of Java application servers: https://www.quora.com/Java-Platform-Enterprise-Edition-What-is-the-future-of-application-servers?share=1
@lunch interesting! How does that look? There is also a `(comment )` form in Clojure
Gradual typing for the win!

Has anyone else had MOA and Twitter just stop talking to eachother, for unknown reason? I was using MOA on 3 accounts, but apparently now only 2. https://gitlab.com/fedstoa/moa/-/issues/30 #noxp
@souldessin Really? It's been a few years since I used Drupal, but I liked it. Did they get rid of it?

You're about to build a new web app UI, using #ClojureScript.
What CSS framework / library do you use? Why?
(Been happy with Bulma by @jgthms for close to 5 years, wondering what the landscape is like today)
Asynchronous team communication: like email or Zulip, the ability to have sequential comms without having to be simultaneously present. ie, "not at the same time."
Asynchronous computing: like threads, the ability for things to run in parallel without waiting for eachother. ie, "at the same time."
Am I the only one who runs in to confusion with this contronym in semi-technical discussions? "Let's solve this asynchronously."
I am really annoyed by things that insist you use their app rather than taking pride in their a well-done web-app -- but I am downright INFURIATED by things that actually refuse to work without their app, not even attempting a basic CRUD REST webapp. Just got a scare that way with Class Dojo, but they actually seem to have a begrudgingly working web app.
