@icedquinn Yep. A beautiful artifact of immutability. I have never seen them market that fact, but as someone who has gone to pains to implement soft-deletes in half a dozen PostGres systems after wishing we had it, this default with XTDB is nice.
There are probably some people out there who get annoyed that #Telegram doesn't "hoist" United States to the top of its otherwise alphabetical country account selection box. Personally, I find it a refreshing reminder that we are not privileged users here.
Fantastic #css, really! I especially enjoyed speci-fish-ity https://estelle.github.io/CSS/selectors/index.html#slide20

if you are into CSS, I can't tell you how fantastic of a resource https://estelle.github.io/CSS/ is. I made it a few years ago. Interactive examples of almost every CSS property. Enjoy.

Built-in soft deletes are one of the reasons I like XTDB

@veer66 I've heard of Lua, at least. That's not much company for JavaScript in this idea, though

A superb answer that explains why default #Clojure niceness inhibits numeric high-perforance, and how to get around that. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/71790601/why-is-this-seemingly-basic-clojure-function-so-slow/71813121#71813121
With a googled Android device (Gapps installed, or default AOSP) I cannot screen mirror to anything but Chromecast. Back with de-googled I could mirror to my Roku fine (same physical device). This is Defective By Design #dbd and I hate it.

Someone asked why RCF was not made sooner as it is not particularly special. I think it's because it cost about $50k in dev payroll (4 designs over 2 years- & this is not SF rates). Good software is not a fun hobby project, shipping is a grind and someone has to pay for it!

@trinsec They weren't especially accomplished presenters, I think, but it was good. There was a lot of comment about the nature of open-source work, and some great advancements in the menu system and the grid snap system
