Our project would be public except that its database migrations include years of private data because... well, that's what migrations are for. But surely this is a solved problem -- how to be Git public except for certain data?

However, "dev browser" for me actually means "private mode" in FireFox. Something sadly impossible in Finicky https://github.com/johnste/finicky/issues/49.
