I must admit, the way Spotify knows which track and where in the track you are on which device, even between my web browser, chromecast, and my phone app, is very impressive. What tech underlies that success?

In my case, using GardenCSS and hotloading for my custom stuff, and Bulma for my general stuff that I want ensured against devices and edge-cases, is just beautiful. It's not that I care whether it's called "master" or "main". I just hate having my branch names dictated by some faceless entities in the name of non-technical issues of which I want no part. Especially with the wasted retcon.
