Ever have a "great idea" and realize you just rediscovered an idea you came up with nearly a year and a half ago? I have.
@lupyuen I wonder if most of Fortune 500 companies he's "retaliating" against would even have been affected. In my world, any external software is evaluated for junk like this before it's even brought into our development environment. Besides that, it wouldn't make it to prod. So, the ones affected most would be smaller firms or independent or just amateur devs that *think* they can't afford or just don't think they need such processes...
How many websites and organizations ask for your date of birth or the last 4 of your SSN? They don't actually need that information: The only use is as a foreign key in some other database.
