@Pat Cool! And thank you for checking into that. The math is *WAY* beyond my toolkit, and the topic is WAY the hell out of my professional life. I certainly wouldn't dare dispute it, but I grasp conceptually that both forms of acceleration would have to be accounted for, and how much depends upon what orbit is used.

So *I* don't know, but I'm quite happy *YOU* do and have the mathematical grasp to put numbers to it. :D

@andrutay I have seen it highly recommended you do NOT delete the account itself. That would be begging someone else to take on your Twitter handle and tweet on your behalf as you. I believe you can download your entire record, that's cool. And if you delete the app and refuse to use it, that's great. Just keep the @/handle for your own protection.

@alaina I do lots of listening. I know my sympathy and condolences are not anywhere needed as much as for the brutal murders to stop. So I listen, and wait to be in the position to do something constructive or to slap down someone being inhumane.

What Android app are people using for Mastodon? The website shows controls the official app doesn't. I have "home" but I doubt I'm getting local feed to look at the stream from my instance. I'm open to a better experience on the phone.

@DrK #DogsOfMastodon Oh Tilly gets so angry at dogs in her parking lot! She's always telling them off from the window. She gets REAL quiet and shy while she's on walks out there too. Odd how that works.

I took time to hug and assure my wife @mikmaqpeek it wasn't her coughing that had me up at various times last night. It was being bossed around and told what's-what, being complained at and grumbled to. Some people's puppies!
