@kensanata
I use markdown for my blog, as I don't need complex stuff, and as i use tiddlywiki (tiddlywiki.com) as personal wiki, so I use its special markdown.

Too bad there is no standard between wikis for a common syntax, every time I switch between wikipedia-mediawiki, dokuwiki, tiddlywiki and markdown I have some moments of blank
@alxd

CWed for length. "Viral Math Problem?"

@Surasanji You are making it viral now =D

@comphys Yes, that would be something in line with what I'm looking for... do you remember what episode by any chance?

@dennis_reichel This looks like an awesome documentary, just what I was looking for, thanks!

Come on now, give me your best , you'll help me get idea for some public screening we are planning to do

@js290
I didn't mean that scientist or statistics people are not subject to corruption, I was wondering how that makes it a "belief system", and how as you say it has become so (that is, when wasn't it, when did this transition happened)
@djspacebunny

An update on my small group trying to push for #environmentally friendly practices in my area

@rustyswarf

Thanks for your encouraging message, eventually the proposal has passed all the awfully difficult assemblies, and for next places I hope it will go as you say. We have an example to bring now, and hopefully it's going to be convincing enough =)

Now, for the next projects!

meta, red candle, some anti-trans shit, a touch technical

@onethousandtwentyfour
Thanks, I have the extension for the clacks and have been wondering who this Natalie was
@DialMforMara @copyleftie@freeradical.zone

@js290
Compared to when? I mean, when do you think science was less of a belief system then it is now, and by which criteria?

@djspacebunny

@djspacebunny
"Latour believes that if scientists were transparent about how science really functions — as a process in which people, politics, institutions, peer review and so forth all play their parts — they would be in a stronger position to convince people of their claims. "

I'm not sure how and where scientist have been so cryptic about how a research works. And, IMO, point of a scientist shouldn't be to convince people, but to make science.

@tsturm
Tried opening an issue for it? What os? I love darktable, is a really powerful tool

@oloturia come asmr funziona poco, però molto carino l'effetto

@copyleftie@freeradical.zone I tried using vlc but doesn't seem like working... I opened an issue about it.
I'm not used to mpv, would you mind sharing your script? Does it allow you to not keep the terminal window open while plying a stream, so that you can keep looking for stuff without opening another one?

@copyleftie@freeradical.zone I've been playing with mpsyt for like an hour now. It is pretty cool, actually!

@copyleftie@freeradical.zone

I missed this option, looks useful, thanks!

@js290

@js290 Uh, automatically adding metadata looks cool. Do you have a link to the script? I mostly use ogg, if it works anyway maybe I can play with it =)

@copyleftie@freeradical.zone

@js290
what's the advantage over using youtube-dl -x?

@copyleftie@freeradical.zone

@copyleftie@freeradical.zone it does, but it streams the video, while I like to know the file is in my machine for some reason
